Jazz/Blues/Rock singer originally from Marin County, currently resides in Sacramento, CA.

As well as a powerful voice, Katie also plays piano, guitar, dobro and harmonica.

Her live band is billed as, "The Heart Miners".

Knipp stopped performing during the last half of 2014 as she prepared for the birth of her first child.
