…The Rangers lost to the eventual conference champion New Jersey Devils, the sixth seed, in the conference finals. The Canucks lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Los Angeles Kings – who as the eighth seed and the last team to qualify for the playoffs won the Stanley Cup!
